Pack 893 has agreed to a new service project for the JJP Homeowners Association. They have asked our Cub Scouts to distribute mini American Flags to each home in the HOA. We will meet at Mohawk on Thursday, July 1st at 7:30 pm to assign areas and hand-out the flags.
If your schedule won't allow Thursday night participation, please contact Steve Sweeney beforehand, as we can work around individual availability to get your boys mobilized for this project.
Every Scout deserves a trained leader. And while we leaders spend most of our time trying to get the boys to work together... guess what? Now it is our turn to lead by example.
The Adult leader workshop will provide structure around planning our Cub Scout Program for the coming year and helping to smooth the transition for our leaders by sharing knowledge and materials.
For all who are attending Twilight Camp.
Thanks to all who attended the workshop tonight. I hope you found the information useful.
On Thursday afternoon I am going to drop off all of the forms that I have at the home of the camp director. If you get your forms to me by Wednesday evening, I will submit them for you. Otherwise, you will need to show up early to the camp on Monday and stand in line to submit your forms.
For those of you attending Twilight Camp, we are going to have a workshop at our house this Tuesday (6/1) from 6:30-7:30. We will have a brief informational session for the parents, and the kids will be able to decorate their buckets and make "swaps". I will the handout t-shirts.
The school year ends in 2 weeks! Are you ready for summer? If you want to start summer off right, at least in your son's eyes, it's not too late to sign up for Twilight Camp!
