Pack Service Projects

In addition to regular “trash cleanups” at the local parks, we do our best to participate in bigger service projects a few times each year. You can read more about these below.

We are always looking for more ways to be helpful as well, so if you have ideas for our pack, please get in touch!

Prairie Creek Marsh and Wildscape

Since 2021, Pack 893 has been working with local Master Naturalists at the Prairie Creek Marsh and Wildscape to revive the native prairie ecosystem there. We have helped to remove non-native invasive plants, plant native trees, shrubs, and grasses, and cleaned up trash.

Not only has this effort caught the attention of the City of Richardson, but also the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department! Read a letter from here: TPWD letter about CCWW
